Geneva Motor Show promises to rev up a few engines
With less than a week to go until the 80th annual motor show kicks off in Switzerland, Abarth fans are getting hot under the collar at the promise of the first glimpse of the drop-top Abarth 500C and the new Abarth Punto Evo.
As well as showcasing the latest thoroughbreds from the Abarth stable, the 10 day expo will also feature recent innovations in electric and alternative fuel vehicles from the likes of Audi, BMW and Fiat proper.
With over 60 alternative energy models on show this year, the future is clearly at the forefront of the minds of the organisers - something which the world’s press will be watching with interest.
Also premiering this year
This year’s show will also see firsts unveiled from Renault in the form of their new convertible Twingo, a Pininfarina Alfa Romeo concept car and other brand new models from Peugeot, Opel and Nissan.
