Clay Bar System

The best way to preserve your paintwork is by removing contaminants before they do any damage.  Industrial fallout, acid rain, sea spray and other elements are hard to spot, yet stick to your vehicle like glue.

When used with the lubricant, the non-abrasive Mer Clay Bar will literally pull these impurities away, preserving your bodywork and producing a smooth finish with deeper colour and shine.  Just run your hand over the surface and feel the difference.  To prevent the clay bar slipping out of your hand, use the unique Pro Clay Holder.

Directions

  • Wash your vehicle ideally with Mer Super Advanced Shampoo to remove all loose dirt and grime
  • Knead the Clay Bar into the centre of the Pro Clay Holder
  • Spray the Mer Lubricant continuously to keep the surface wet
  • Rub the clay over the lubricated surface until all contaminants are removed
  • Remove from the holder when dirty, fold the clay over and knead clean side into the holder
  • Wipe dry with a microfibre cloth and check the surface
  • Repeat if necessary
  • Finish with Mer Hybrid Wax for lasting protection and shine

Top Tip

Clay Bars are fantastic at getting ingrained dirt off alloy wheels.

Last time i washed my car was about 4 weeks ago as i work on a building site my car tends to get very dirty. However last time i cleaned the car i used this after and somehow even though my car is dirty the water still beads and im sure that if i didnt take my car to work it will still be shiny :

I read a lot of reviews on this product but thought the only way to see if it does what it says is to try it. I have a Black Mitsibushi Colt and as everyone knows black is the hardest colour to keep clean. Well I can honestly say that this product does exactly what it says on the bottle. I found it easy to use only one thing is that you have to be careful putting it on and not put it on plastic and rubber as it marks it, other than that its great.
