Unfortunately not, polishes dry too quickly in direct sunlight and this in turn makes the surface difficult to buff to a high gloss finish.

Mer Ultimate Polish should be removed within thirty minutes of application.

Mer Ultimate Polish contains a mineral to remove oxides from the surface. It is this mineral that can leave white marks on plastic trims. These marks are easily removed using hot water and a toothbrush.

A wax is mainly used to protect a car’s paintwork whereas a polish contains chemical cleaners and mineral to get deeper into the clearcoat for wax protection. Our polishes not only clean, they protect!

You should wax your car when it no longer repels water, or when an improvement in appearance is required. Mer Hybrid Wax can give up to six months protection in one application

Both types of finish can be achieved with this product. If applied as directed on the bottle you will achieve a glossy finish however, if you want a matte finish simply run a sponge over the surface once the gel has been applied.

Firstly remove as much as possible with a damp cloth as soon as you notice it on the paintwork. Any marks in the paintwork can then be removed using Mer Scratch Remover or Mer Ultimate Polish.

A combination of carnauba, paraffin and montanic waxes are inside Mer Hybrid Wax to provide the best wax properties possible.

Mer Hybrid Wax can be applied on a damp vehicle but the results will not be as good as if applied on dry paintwork because the layer of wax will be diluted. For best results use Mer Clay first and then apply Mer Hybrid Wax to a dry car. This will achieve a showroom finish and give up to 6 months protection.

This is easily fixed using Mer Scratch Remover. Simply apply a small amount of Mer Scratch Remover on to a slightly dampened pad to effectively remove surface scratches and blemishes. Finish off with Mer Hybrid Wax for added protection and extreme shine.

Mer Hybrid Wax will cover up swirl marks however, Mer Ultimate Polish will, in most cases, remove swirls and holograms.

The easiest way to remove swirl marks from your vehicle is to use Mer Ultimate Polish.

However, we do have other products that are specifically designed for alloy wheels such as Mer Alloy Wheel Cleaner which will give you fantastic results. Mer Alloy Wheel Cleaner gets right to the spot, removing brake dust and even the most stubborn dirt from your wheels and wheel covers. Finish with Mer Wheel Wax to provide a protective coating.

Cleaning products will evaporate on hot surfaces, leaving unsightly spots on your wheels, so it’s vital that you wait for them to cool before washing. If the wheels are caked in mud or brake dust, start by using a power spray or hose to remove the excess, taking care to shield your eyes from any dirt that is thrown up. Make sure you wash the wheels before the rest of the car and always use separate materials, as even a small amount of debris from the wheels may damage your paintwork. 

We would not recommend this as a wax hazes once applied which will make a smear affect on glass. Mer Windscreen Cream Cleaner or Mer Rapid Spray Glass Cleaner are much better for glass application.
